The print landscape has changed dramatically over the past decade. With the rise of digital media and the decline of print, the fundamental question of how a paper company fits into, and thrives, in today’s world has become more important than ever. On the heels of a visual rebrand, Mohawk needed to reestablish their place in the creative and print community. At Hybrid Design, through extensive research, we came to realize that Mohawk’s mission was intrinsically tied to the new generation of Makers and the renewed passion for the art of craft. We discovered a simple truth: Mohawk’s values are Makers’ values. A Declaration of Craft is a celebration of this, an exposition of who Mohawk is and how they are naturally embedded in the Maker community.
